University Holds “Blessing of the Books”

At The University of Scranton’s Panuska College of Professional Studies’ eighth annual “Blessing of the Books,” which collected more than 1,500 donated books, are, from left, Kara Hoff, a graduate assistant for the Panuska College of Professional Studies; Debra Pellegrino, Ed.D., dean of the Panuska College of Professional Studies; University President Kevin P. The books, donated by University students, faculty and staff, are distributed through area organizations. In its eight years, the annual book collection has distributed more than 19,000 books.
